London 2012: The Countdown Series: Synchronised Swimming Preview

Only 11 days remaining until the first day of the London Olympics! This is a preview of the synchronised swimming at the London games!

Synchronised swimming, like all other indoor events sanctioned by Fina, will be housed for the London games in the London Aquatics Centre (pictured). 24 countries are represented this year in London.

Anastasia Davydova and Anastasiya Yermakova are the defending Olympic champions in the duet, winning the event at Athens 2004 and at Beijing 2008. The Russians have dominated the team event three times, most in that event, including at Beijing 2008.
