London 2012: The Countdown Series: BMX Racing Preview

23 days left until the first day of the London Olympics. This is a preview of the BMX racing at the London games.

The BMX races will take place on the makeshift BMX course located next to the track cycling arena at the London Velodrome Complex (pictured).

At Beijing 2008, it was the first Olympics for BMX racing, where Maris Strombergs won the men's final, while Anne Caroline Chausson won the women's final.

48 men and women from 21 countries will participate in the races this year in London.
