The Road to Denver Begins Saturday!

This is the Pepsi Center in Denver. Home of the NHL's Avalanche and NBA's Nuggets. On April Fool's weekend, it will be invaded by the four surviving programs of Division I NCAA women's basketball, as the Pepsi Center is this year's Women's Final Four site.

Baylor, Connecticut, Notre Dame and Stanford are number one seeds in their respective regions.

Here are some notable first round matchups you should chew on:

• Fresno State/Georgetown
• Marist/Georgia
• LSU/San Diego State
• UWGB/Iowa State
• Kentucky/McNeese State
• South Dakota State/Purdue

Those I think are some of the matchups of the first round to keep an eye on, especially the return of LSU to the tournament. Hopefully UWGB, Marist and South Dakota State make it through this time. New blood makes everything better!
