London 2012: The Countdown Series: Indonesia

138 days to go until the first day of the London Olympics. Next up on the parade of nations: Indonesia (INA).


Since 1952, they have been participating in the summer Olympics. 25 medals were won by Indonesian athletes, including six gold medals.


All of Indonesia's gold medals in the summer Olympics were won in badminton. The most recent of those is the doubles partnership of Markis Kido and Hendra Setiavan (pictured). Both won men's doubles at Beijing 2008. Three singles and three doubles medals were won in badminton.

As of now 11 Indonesians will compete in three events-swimming, weightlifting and archery.
