London 2012: The Countdown Series: Kuwait

128 days to go until the first day of the London Olympics. Up next on the parade of nations: Kuwait (KUW).

Since 1968, Kuwait has participated in the summer Olympics. Only one medal has been won by a Kuwaiti athlete in these summer games.

Fehaid al-Deehani (pictured) brought home a bronze in the men's double trap shooting event at Sydney 2000. To this day, the only Olympic medal won by a Kuwaiti athlete.

As of now 8 Kuwaiti athletes are headed to London to compete in four events, including various athletics and swimming events.
