111 days to go until the first day of the London Olympics. Up next on the parade of nations: Namibia (NAM).
Namibia has participated in the summer Olympics since 1992, only 4 medals have been one by their athletes in these summer games.
All four medals, which were silver, were won by Frankie Fredericks (pictured). Fredericks was runner-up in the men's 100m and 200m (athletics) finals at both Barcelona 1992 and Atlanta 1996. To this day, Hendricks remains the only Olympic medalist from Namibia.
As of now, 7 will head to London to compete in four events, including athletics, cycling and wrestling.
