114 days to go until the first day of the London Olympics. Up next on the parade of nations: Montenegro (MNE).

The London Olympics will mark the second third summer Olympics that Montenegro will compete as an independent nation since the split of Serbia and Montenegro. The nation first competed as an independent nation at Beijing 2008. No medals were won by their athletes at Beijing.

Only one athlete from Montenegro will head to London, and will compete in the women's marathon.
