Sochi 2014: The Countdown Series: India

74 days remaining until the opening ceremonies (73 until first day of competition) of Sochi 2014. Up next on the countdown: India.

India made their winter Olympics debut at Chamonix 1924, but didn't return to the winter games until Innsbruck 1964. From Grenoble 1968 to Calgary 1988, they were idle, until their return to Albertville 1992. They also skipped Lillehammer 1994, and has sent at least one athlete to the winter games since Nagano 1998. The Indian contingent competed in mostly Alpine events, but no medals were won.

As of now, no representation from India for Sochi, but could change.
