77 days remaining until the opening ceremonies (76 until the first day of competition) of Sochi 2014. Up next on the countdown: Hong Kong.

Hong Kong made their winter Olympics debut at Salt Lake City 2002, and has competed ever since. They sent three athletes to every winter game since Salt Lake City, all in women's short track speed skating, and mostly 500m and 1000m events. No medals were won.

Hong Kong will send athletes to Sochi.
