80 days remaining until the opening ceremonies (79 until the first day of competition) at Sochi 2014. Up next on the countdown: Guam.

Guam has participated in the winter Olympics only once: at Calgary 1988.

Biathlete Judd Bankert (pictured) was Guam's participant for Calgary, and still remains the lone winter Olympian for Guam. He failed to bring home a medal.

As of now, no representation from Guam for Sochi as of yet, but could change.
