Denmark made their debut in the winter Olympics at St. Moritz 1948, and competed in every winter Olympic games with the exception of Cortina d'Ampezzo 1956, Sapporo 1972, Innsbruck 1976, Lake Placid 1980 and Sarajevo 1984. Danes have only won one medal in the winter games.
Their only medal placement in the winter games came as a result of the women's curling team's bitter defeat against Canada in the final at Nagano 1998. Other than that, that's it.
Men's and women's curling teams will most likely be what Denmark will send to Sochi at this moment, unless something changes.
