Sochi 2014: The Countdown Series: Greece

81 days remaining until the opening ceremonies (80 days remaining until the first day) of Sochi 2014. Up next on the countdown: Greece.

Greece made their winter Olympics debut at Garmisch-Partenkirchen 1936, and has sent an athlete to every winter games with the exception of Squaw Valley 1960. These Greek athletes were competing mostly in cross country and Alpine events, but not one scored a medal.

There will be Greek participation at Sochi.
