SOPA Protest Day!

Yes folks, there's a reason why they're doing this. This is for our rights and our sovereignty on the line. This bill could change the way most of the other democracies in the world view us.

This is the Stop Online Privacy Act (SOPA) we're talking about.

The bill, authorized by U.S. Congressman Lamar Smith (his congressional district is the San Antonio area), has backing from the major film studios, the MPAA and RIAA, the evilest of all evil who claims that they "represent" their respective industries. Apparaently, both the MPAA and RIAA are hurting the business with absurdist shit like this, thus this is where the boycotts came in.

At 11pm NACST Tuesday night, Wikipedia went dark, and will do so until 11pm NACST. A few others have joined in. GooTube, twitter, facebook and others have spoke out on it already, and no protests there.

However, there are companies that support this shit, and here's the list!

FUCK SOPA!

YES TO DEMOCRACY!
