London 2012: The Countdown Series: Bahamas

193 days to go. The parade of nations continue. Done with the A's, now onto the B's. First of the B's in ABC order (in English, since the summer games will be in London) is Bahamas (BAH).

Competing in the summer Olympics since 1952, the island nation has garnered 11 medals including 4 gold medals.

Half of their gold medals were won by Pauline Davis Thompson at Sydney 2000, as a member of the women's 4x100m relay and won individually in the 200m.

For London (as of now), 16 athletes will represent the country in 2 sports-swimming and in various athletics events.
