191 days to go until the first day of activities in London. Up next on the parade of nations: Barbados (BAR).

The island nation has competed in the summer Olympics since 1968, and has only one medal.

Their lone medal-a bronze-won by Obadele Thompson in the men's 100m (athletics) at Sydney 2000. 

As of now, 5 athletes will represent Barbados in two sports-swimming and in various athletics events.
