History Was Made!

Last Saturday, at the Gents game against Louisiana College at the Gold Dome, was more history made. Senior forward Maxx Nakwaasah, of Dallas, scored 20 points, and became the 30th Gent to go over 1,000 points in his career (and the 35th in the entire basketball program at Centenary, counting the Ladies' program).

Where he was after fouled out. But wait there's more!

On Monday, he broke the school's all time single game scoring record with 51 against East Texas Baptist. This breaks the record set by THE Robert Parish years ago. THE same Robert Parish that was part of the Celtics' NBA titles of the '80s.
