And now, the first of the 'big six' (skipped Denmark and will save for last) on grand final Saturday. Twin Twin (pictured), a three man group, is a well known act across France. They will represent that country in Copenhagen next month with "Moustache."
"Moustache" is a club masterpiece. A typical French house fare, which I really like and could be one of the best--if not the best--that France has had in the ESC. Just listen for yourself.
The trio will perform in the grand final only on Saturday, the 10th of May, since they are among the entries with the free pass to the grand final (along with the host Denmark and four fellow European super-powers). As far as this song goes, look here. I liked Amandine Bourgeois last year. Good song, but France has not had that much to offer in years--besides Jessy Matador "Allez Ole Ole" (2010) and Marie Line "Ou Aller" (1998)--just to name a few. But I'm happy nonetheless and "Moustache" is destined to be a winning contender on grand final Saturday.
Up next: The Shin featuring Mariko Ebralidze "Three Minutes to Earth."
