Copenhagen 2014 Reviews: Andras Kallay Saunders "Running"

Something fresh for Hungary in Copenhagen this year, as second generation performer Andras Kallay Saunders (pictured) will represent the country with "Running."

"Running" is a track that all the way euphoric, backed by drum-n-bass (I have no problem with DnB). Add good vocals and a worthwhile finishing product. Kallay Saunders--son of jazz performer Fernando Saunders, who have played with the likes of (see his website for more)--was born in New York and took the surname of his mom, a Hungarian-born model.

He will perform in the first semifinal on Tuesday, the 8th of May, and I got a strange feeling he will make the grand final on Saturday the 10th of May. Hungary has had some stellar entries of the past, including Compact Disco's "Sound of Our Hearts" (the four man piece from Budapest not the Chicago-based DJ outfit) from 2012, and ByeAlex "Kedvesem" from last year, just to name a few. Hope for the best.

Up next: Pollaponk "Enga Fordoma."
