London 2012: The Countdown Series: Trinidad & Tobago

67 days to go until the first day of the London Olympics. Up next on the parade of nations: Trinidad and Tobago (TRT).

Trinidad and Tobago has participated in the summer Olympics since 1948. A total of 14 medals have been won by their athletes including a gold medal.

The only gold medal for Trinidad and Tobago in the summer Olympics was won by Hasely Crawford. Crawford (pictured) won gold in the men's 100m (athletics) final at Montreal 1976.

Ato Boldon (pictured) didn't win a gold in his years he has qualified for the summer games, but he finished runner up in the 100m (athletics) at Sydney 2000, and won the bronze three times-in the 100m (athletics) at Atlanta 1996 and in the 200m (athletics) at Atlanta 1996 and Sydney 2000. Boldon is currently a TV analyst on United States television, with NBC Sports.

As of now, Trinidad & Tobago will send 16 athletes to London to compete in four events-athletics, swimming, boxing and cycling.
