Sochi 2014: The Countdown Series: Kenya

66 days remaining until the opening ceremonies (65 until the first day of competition) at Sochi 2014. Up next on the countdown: Kenya.


Kenya made their winter Olympics debut at Nagano 1998, and has appeared at every winter Olympics games ever since, with the exception of Vancouver 2010. Only one athlete has qualified for Kenya at the winter games.


Philip Boit (pictured), has been the lone participant for Kenya in the winter games. Boit, a cross country skier, competed in four different events, between Nagano 1998 and Turin 2006. He did not win any medals.

As of now, no Kenyan participation for Sochi, but could change.
