BELLATOR MMA 97: Two Title Fights & Two Tournament Finals

The final BELLATOR MMA Summer Series event of 2013 concludes with an epic SPIKE card, as two titles are on the line, and two tournament finals as well.

The co-main event features two title defenses. Michael Chandler defends his lightweight championship against most recent tournament winner David Rickels, while Ben 'Funky' Askren, the best welterweight in combat sports (sorry Floyd), defends the welterweight championship belt against recent tournament winner Andrey Koreshkov.

Two tournament finals will take place tonight. In the heavyweight final, Vitaly Minakov will take on Ryan Martinez and in the light heavyweight final, it will be Mo Lawal against Jacob Noe. Title shots on the line. Lawal recently did color commentary (along with Julie Kedzie) for INVICTA 6 on Pay Per View a few weeks ago, where Cris 'Cyborg' Santos destroyed Marloes Coenen to the fourth and became new INVICTA champion.

Also Patricio 'Pitbull' Freire is back in action as well.
