The NHL Olympic Season Starts Tonight!
After a lockout-shortened 2012-13 season, it's back to a full 82-game schedule beginning tonight as the Blackhawks will hoist their 2nd Stanley Cup banner next to their other one from the 2009-10 season as the United Center will be packed to the rafters, and the sounds of Jim Cornelison as he is singing the national anthem and the crowd roaring. That game is tonight at 7pm Central on NBCSN.
CBC is starting off with a doubleheader with the Habs-Leafs at 6pm Central, followed by the Jets-Oilers.
October 1st. Today is the day. Finally a full season. And don't forget, 129 days until Sochi.
