Baseball's Postseason 2013: Divisional Series


After two decades of losing seasons, the Pirates had to win their National League wild card game with the Reds on Tuesday night, and did so in spectacular fashion. Now the Pirates are in the National League divisional series starting today in St. Louis, where it is sunny (despite 40% chance of rain) as I am blogging right now.

In other playoff news, the Rays continuing their road tour in full form, with season ending sweeps in New York and Toronto, followed by Monday's Game 163 win over the Rangers and Wednesday night's American League wild card win in Cleveland. The Rays' world tour continues as they head down Interstate 90 for their first game of the divisional series with the Red Sox.

Also the Dodgers are back in the postseason as well; the first under new ownerships.

With that in mind, the divisional series picture:
