Sochi 2014: The Countdown Series: Algeria

119 days until the first day of the Sochi Olympics, which is the opening ceremonies. Up next on the countdown: Algeria.

Algeria has participated in three previous winter games, starting with Albertville 1992 and most recently Turin 2006 and Vancouver 2010. There have been seven Algerians in the winter games, mostly cross country. None have won a medal.

As of now, no Algerians have qualified Sochi, but that could change.
