Sochi 2014: The Countdown Series: Bosnia & Herzegovina

107 days to go until the opening ceremonies at Sochi 2014. Up next on the countdown: Bosnia & Herzegovina.

Bosnia and Herzegovina first appearance in the winter Olympics was at Lillehammer 1994, and has since sent one of their athletes to the winter games. Their winter games participants have competed mainly in the bobsled events. Not one Bosnian athlete brought home a medal.

As of now, no participants from Bosnia for Sochi have been confirmed, but could change.

The country would technically be credited these days as the host 'state' of the 1984 winter Olympics at Sarajevo. Back then, Bosnia, along with Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, Macedonia and Slovenia were together as one, Yugoslavia.

Up next: Brazil.
