100 days until the opening ceremonies at Sochi 2014. Up next on the countdown: Chile.
Chile debuted in the winter Olympics at St. Moritz 1948 and has competed since then, with the exception of Sapporo 1972 and Lake Placid 1980.
The country has sent athletes to the winter games, in mostly Alpine skiing events, but failed to medal.
As of now, there will be Chilean athletes in Sochi.
