NFL Wild Card Weekend 2013-14: Blackouts?

It's back. Wild card weekend in the NFL.

The American wild card games will feature some interesting stuff, as the resurgent Chiefs, under Andy Reid, hopes to give a revived Colts offense (with 3-4 good running backs!) a taste of their medicine. Or will the ferocious Colts defense punish Alex Smith? That is on Saturday. The Sunday game will have the last minute Chargers in Cincinnati. Will the Chargers be ready for the task at hand? The winners will either travel to Foxboro or Denver next weekend in the semifinals.

The National wild card games will also have some tantalizing storylines. Saints, Eagles and Packers all got in this past weekend on the final weekend of the regular season. Will the Saints and Niners be mentally fit to take on these last minute ticket punchers? The winners will either travel to Seattle or Charlotte next weekend in the semifinals.

There is rumor that the Pack-Niners and both American wild card games could be blacked out. Say it isn't so! The rough economy has now hit sport, as you can see based on the empty seats at just about all college bowl games so far this season. Now it carries over to the NFL playoffs. Ironic.

With that in mind...
