After almost a week on hiatus (due to graduate school finals), I'm back with more ESC reviews! Up next is my review of Trinitje Oosterhuis (pictured) with "Walk Along" (Netherlands).
"Walk Along" is a free flowing song, and I've just about heard numerous similar songs in the ESC in the past because of its similarity. "Na Inat" by Poli Genova from 2011 is a perfect example. Same guitar riffs and beat, but there is a huge difference between Poli's voice and Trinitje's voice. Poli didn't make it to the grand final that year in Dusseldorf, but in 2015, will Trinitje make it to grand final Saturday? She will perform on May 19 in the first semifinal.
