RANT: Is Taco Bell's Beef REALLY Beef?

Really?

And now this is a comeback from the Yum! division's president posted on their web site.

Now my side of the story. I don't mind Taco Bell, but I do understand that most of today's fast food is in the shitter. I will eat fast food at chains such as Raising Cane's, Sonic, Popeye's, and others every once in a while whenever there's something new and refreshing on the menu. For the past few years I turned to Moe's for my quick Mexican food fix, even though it's not fast food, but fast casual (other chains are like that-Smashburger and Wing-Stop among others). People should realize, regardless of fast food or home cooking, who knows what they add inside the food, we will still eat it anyway.

With that in mind, Arby's ran a series of ads a few years back for their chicken, claiming that it's "all natural," to Wendy's (their soon-to-be former sister chain) and McDonald's. It's fast food, you never know what they add into their chicken.

Some chains also debuked one another about food being fresh and not frozen, even Jack in the Box got sued by Carl Karcher Enterprises (CKE), the parent of Carl's Jr. and Hardees a few years back because of the claim that CKE's "angus" burgers were not angus but from the "anus."

But the thing is, no matter what's in the food, people will still eat it, and if they get sick and claim that they'll never go back, you never know that they WILL come back. Not surprising.
