The Aftermath of Sandy: Some Thoughts.

Now that Sandy is completely gone, some thoughts:
  • Giants game on Sunday (nationally on CBS except in Seattle and Bay Area due to NFL restrictions) will remain at the Meadowlands on Sunday; avoiding the move to let's say...the Carrier Dome at Syracuse University (even though Syracuse is basically a Bills market and I'm assuming there are Steelers fans in the market)
  • NBC Universal networks (CNBC, usa, msnbc, NBC Sports Network, NBC, etc.) are doing a one hour telethon tonight to raise money. News Corp, CBS and Disney are also among the media companies that will donate money to relief efforts.
  • New York Marathon cancelled.
  • Broadway is back, some shows opened on Thursday night.
  • Late night shows in NYC (Letterman, Fallon, etc. are started to return to taping)
  • Saw on Fox News' the Five that guns are pulled on each other in NYC?
  • A long line of people waiting for fuel.
  • Possibly more crime, considering what we've seen in New Orleans in 2005.
There maybe more things that will come out of the aftermath. In the world of technology, it's great to basically keep up with the events in the aftermath of Sandy.
