Wilson leaves behind a wife and two children. It's been a sad couple of years in motorsport. A month ago we lost Jules Bianchi, months after a terrifying wreck in the Japanese Grand Prix months ago. As for 'IndyCar', since the split, has seen this series have more injuries and fatalities than CART/Champ Car. Sure motorsport is dangerous, but at the end we see lives lost.
