I've been a huge Action Bronson fan since Dr. Lecter came out in 2011. Now that his new full length, SAAAB Stories, is out, in between those two, here is another huge gem from Bronsolino, "Strictly 4 My Jeeps," which was released a few months ago on a separate EP. This is the original, not the remix.
For you Canadians, be safe this Canada Day weekend. For my fellow Americans here in the states, be safe this Independence Day Thursday, regardless how temperatures are in some parts of the country. If you use fireworks, handle with care. If you drink, drink responsively and if you're drunk, hand the keys over to someone who isn't.
Random things that change and reflect the minds of us Earthlings.

CFL 2013: A New Stadium, A New Era for the Bombers, Begins Tonight!
The dream is now a reality. A new era in Winnipeg will begin tonight as the brand new Investors Group Field will welcome the Bombers, as they entertain the Als. Investors Group Field is among six venues across Canada that will be used for the FIFA Women's World Cup in 2015.
Also the defending Grey Cup champ Argos will start their 2013 campaign against their number 1 enemies, the Hamilton Ti-Cats.
TSN will continue its sixth straight season as exclusive CFL broadcaster.
Tonight's Als-Bombers game is on in the States on NBCSN, while the Riders/Esks on Saturday is on ESPN2. Good to see the CFL back on ESPN.
Now I'm waiting for some channel here in the states to pick up CIS football.

Whodunnit? Episode 1 Review & Skywire Mini Rant
This may contain spoilers. So if you don't want to read, go somewhere else.
Ready...
Set...
Read!
Sunday night was a busy night of TV for me at the 8pm Central hour. Not only there was a replay of the GLORY World Series 9 from the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York, which was held Saturday night, on CBS Sports Network (evidently, there was major competition in NYC that night with the Golden Boy card on SHOWTIME, featuring SHOWTIME analyst Paulie "Don't brag about my sidepiece" Malignaggi and Adrien "I am now a problem" Broner), there was also the first ever episode of the new reality show Whodunnit?.
13 checked in, two 'killed' off. This is how it stands after the first ever episode of the American ABC series Whodunnit?, the reality show from CSI: creator/executive producer Anthony Zuiker (follow him on twitter @zuiker).
Unlike the CSI: franchise series, Whodunnit?'s theme is not by The Who. However, it starts off as 13 civilians entering a mansion. The next day, as Sheri, a former NFL cheerleader, came out the shower, she reads a message on the mirror, precipitated from the steam from the hot shower she took. The supposed 'killer' is luring Sheri to the fish tank. Then from there, it gets very interesting. Someone took a crowbar, went out onto the lawn, and unlocked the box. There, it was a slingshot and musket balls. The unknown person quickly stashed the crowbar back into the box. The unknown person would use that slingshot and eventually, let the musket ball go with full force it hit Sheri in the neck. Sheri would later hit the fish tank head on, it cracked the glass of the fish tank. Sheri fell down, and down wires await. Her ass got fried! This is where the investigation begins.
Her blood on the carpet, the water, possibly from the fish tank, and the musket found on Sheri's neck at autopsy. I was thinking about the autopsy part. "Wait...the morgue is located in the mansion?" All of which cultivated some division and tension amongst the civilians whilst the civilians ate finger sandwiches at poolside.
Once the butler distributed the cards, fear and angst ensued. The remaining twelve at the dinner table opened their cards. Everyone got spared--except Dontae and Don. So we all know who the killer will strike next.
It's late at night, and the alarm sounds. Everyone evacuates with the butler doing a roll call of the civilians. Don came out late, but Dontae never came out. Dontae ran out in a goodness gracious, great ball of fire. Dontae, an insurance investigator with a personality similar to Carl Weathers' Apollo Creed character from the Rocky series, ran into the pool to cool. It was too late. Judging by the preview for the next episode, the butler declared Dontae as 'deceased.'
In summary, two deceased in the first episode of TV's newest version of the board game Clue. It is a good action pack start to this series. I feel sad for those who watched Nik Wallenda's stupid tightroping across the Grand Canyon, as opposed to the Whodunnit? premiere, where unlike the Whodunnit? cast, he could have been really dead. Mr. Wallenda, leave the Grand Canyon crossing to Kaptain Robbie Knievel. At least he knows when it's safe to go and did so safely:
We could all laugh if Wallenda fell down the Grand Canyon. Now that I have my rant on Skywire, here is the Whodunnit? scorecard after 1 episode:
ELIMINATED
13. Sheri (electrocution, blunt force trauma)
12. Dontae (burned)

Allen Simonsen, 34, Killed at 24 Heures du Mans Crash
On the second lap at the 24 Heures du Mans Saturday afternoon, Allan Simonsen, a sports car journeyman, hit the wall in his Aston. Both doors came off, as well as the rear wing. The impact was so intense as you see here, the safety car period lasted an hour.
Simonsen was transported to a nearby hospital. During the fourth hour of the race, listening to Radio Le Mans, John Hindhaugh read a message handed from the Aston team. The message was official: Simonsen was pronounced dead of injuries at the hospital. Nothing more preliminary as of yet, except in an FIA/ACO release in which it stated that he died of his injuries at the hospital. We'll probably learn more in the days and weeks to come.
A driver who has dabbed in between various series the past few years including the World Endurance Challenge (WEC) and Aussie V8's, Simonsen is survived by partner Carina and infant. He was 34.
It was the first death at LeMans since 1997.

Whodunnit? Tonight on ABC!
A beauty queen, a former PI, a cardiac nurse, a former NFL cheerleader, a bounty hunter, even an anchor reporter at a CBS affiliate (ironic since this show is on ABC) are among the contestants on ABC's Whodunnit?, premiering tonight on ABC.
I will give this show a try, because who knows what will happen. Will we see grenades used? AK-47s? Who knows.
Anthony E. Zuiker (@zuiker on twitter), the creator of the CSI: franchise is behind this variant of the game Clue. If you like CSI:, give it a try. Avoid spoilers until it is time for the show to come on.

Great race despite the first hour crash that claimed the life of Allan Simonsen. Next year, Audi will have a sister in the race in LMP1, as Porsche LMP1 will return to Le Mans in 2014. When will Volkswagen get in and make it a VW Group trifecta in LMP1? Who knows!
The Championships Wimbledon 2013: Begins Monday!
One of my favorite grand slam events is back, starting tomorrow as The Championships begin play. Gotta love the grass courts.
Novak Djokovic is the top seed in the gentlemen's singles draw. Defending champ Roger Federer is the third seed. Andy Murray, who won gold at AELTC at London 2012, is the second seed.
Defending ladies singles champion Serena Williams, who came under fire recently for comments made in an interview in the latest Rolling Stone interview (if you have the issue, it starts on page 80) about the underage and dating (I think, haven't read the article yet), is the top seed in the ladies singles. She is trying to go for an umpteenth ladies singles title at AELTC.

In honor of the passing and legacy of Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini, who died of a heart attack on Wednesday), why not play the theme of the TV show. Not everyone is aware that The Sopranos theme is "Woke Up this Morning" by the Alabama 3. You might have heard the music, but that is the name of the song. From the album, Exile on Coldharbour Lane, released circa 1997.

ESC Radio Awards 2013: And the Winners Are...
Emmelie de Forest might have won the 58e Concours EUROVISION Chanson de Europeene at Malmo last Month, but did she have what it takes to sway those voting for the ESCRadio awards?
Voting ended Sunday night. This year I've voted only once in four categories.
For song of the year, instead of "Only Teardrops," the voters were holding out for one Bonnie Tyler. "Believe in Me," her song on behalf of the UK this year, was voted song of the year, ahead of one of my favorites, "I Feed You My Love" by Margaret Berger. Marco Mengioni's "L'essenziale" was third.
Bonnie Tyler also was voted best female artist at Malmo, with Zlata Ognevich second, and Anouk third. I wonder why more people voted for Krista Siegfrids over Alena Lanskaya and Hannah Mancini? Her song sucks!
Cezar the Voice should have gotten more votes for best male artist, however the voters wanted dull tastes. Therefore it was Marco Mengioni, followed by Eythor Ingi Gunlaugsson and the even duller voice of Farid Mammadov.
However it's the group-duo that won me the most. Koza Mostra, the Who See Klapa and Heilsarmee (Takasa) had the most votes.
Gee, I wonder who is doing the voting? OGAE clubs?
See the results here.

I've been wanting to upload this to my blog for the past few months. It is to me the most recent trance release I can actually say I can enjoy. The Ian Standerwick mix of "First Coming" by Ciro Visone was featured in a mix at Armin van Buuren's A State of Trance 600: The Expedition in Sao Paulo earlier this year. Quite possibly an excellent mix.

Man Invades French Open Men's Singles Final...With Flares!
Some crazy fan came onto the court of the David Ferrer/Rafa Nadal men's singles final at Roland Garros on Sunday...with flares!
So why was the guy out there?
a) protesting gay marriage
b) had intent to hurt either Ferrer or Nadal (it's been over 20 years since the Monica Seles stabbing in Hamburg)
c) Croatian football supporter (see EURO 2012)
d) none of the above
If you said (a) you are right. The crazed man used flares to protest gay marriage, and easily swept past through the weak RG security.
Rafa did his best to run away because of what happened to Seles at Hamburg in April 1993 could have happened to him. Rafa did swept Ferrer in three sets to win his eighth RG title, and his first grand slam in over a year.

US Open 2013! USGA US Open Golf That Is!
In San Francisco last year, no one knew Webb Simpson would be a contender until Jim Furyk blew a lead. This would be Simpson's first major title.
Simpson will be at Merion, the site of this year's US Open, located outside of Philly. This is truly my favorite golf major considering the mix of PGA Tour pros, along with those who had to qualify their way in via USGA sectionals. Who knows what will happen this weekend?

2013 Stanley Cup Finals: An Original Six Masterpiece
It all comes down to this.
Starting Wednesday, for the first time since 1979 (Habs/Rangers, I think), there will be an 'Original Six' Stanley Cup final.
The Bruins and Blackhawks have won Cups in recent years, but a matchup like this is good for all of ice hockey, considering the rich history of both clubs. Both the Hawks and Bruins were among the NHL's 'Original Six' still in survival to this modern day (Leafs, Habs, Rangers and Wings the others).
Whilst the Hawks survived and outplayed the Wild, Wings and Kings to return to this point, the Bruins had to come back from behind 4-1 in the third of game 7 of the East Quarterfinal with the Leafs, a game in which they came back and won in Overtime. No one knew they would come back, and since then, it was solid performances, especially in the conference final, where they swept the best in the east, the Pittsburgh Penguins.
With that in mind...the series schedule!
Game 1 Wednesday
Game 2 6/15
Game 3 6/17
Game 4 6/19
Game 5 6/22*
Game 6 6/24*
Game 7 6/26*
*-if necessary.
With the exception of games 2 and 3 (both on NBCSN), the rest of the series is on NBC. And once again, the finals are also on CBC, and since this is an original six final, it is a great way for CBC to close out their 60th Season of NHL telecasts, the longest running tenure anywhere on television.
Because it's the Cup.

Twelve years before, it was UEFA EURO 2000, held at sites in two-thirds of the Benelux region. France defeated Italy in the final.
The contrasts between the summer of 2000 to the summer of 2012 is extremely different, and as the UEFA EURO 2000 theme of "Campione" by E-Type suggested, that 2000 was a much better year in electronic music than 2012.
