Super Bowl XLIX: Thoughts From the Game

I was tired from the Aussie Open, so that's why I didn't put up some teaser. However, my thoughts on the game:

1. It was a good game.

2. Bad ending.

3. Bring back the biff.

4. Legalize fights like in the NHL, AHL and juniors.

That's all. Check out their rings, very cool.

Now stay tuned for the commercials.

Seahawks Win 'Weed Bowl' XLVIII

First it was the Metropolitans winning the Stanley Cup, then the Sonics and Storm won theirs. Now it's the Seahawks turn. And a linebacker is MVP for the third time in game history. In a game where it is dubbed the 'weed bowl' because Colorado and Washington have already legalized cannabis.

Mariners and Sounders, where's yours?

Your Micro Super Bowl XLVIII Preview.

A subtle west coast flavor is the theme for the NFL championship game on Sunday.

Despite possible changes to the game, such as shifting to another day to avoid snowstorms (which would be a very pussy move), the game will be played as scheduled: on Sunday night.

The Seahawks--featuring their invisible '12th Man' (the real '12th Man' is in College Station, Texas)--are playing in just their second Super Bowl in franchise history (lost in Super Bowl XL), while the Broncos are making their first Super Bowl trip since XXXIII, where they defeated the Falcons at Joe Robbie Stadium.

Come to think about it...weren't they used to both play in the same division before 2001?

The rivalry continues on Sunday, live on Fox. The commercials should be just as good as the game.

Waste of Popcorn?

Yet another startling clip from the National Conference championship game on Sunday: was the popcorn thrown at intentionally or spilled? You decide!

Too close to call.

This is How to Cut a Promo Efficiently and Effectively!

From the National Conference championship game on Sunday. Seahawks DB Richard Sherman chews out Niners receiver Michael Crabtree as seen here in the postgame interview with Fox Sports' Erin Andrews:

When will we see these guys square off in a cage or in a ring?

NFL Conference Championships Sunday!

Another weekend of rematches as the NFL postseason reaches conference championship level on Sunday.

For the third time this season, the 49ers and Seahawks will meet, but this time it is for the National Conference championship. The series between the two are so intense, it was split this season.

Meanwhile, the American conference will feature the Patriots and Broncos for the second time this season. The Pats beat the Broncos on SNF during the regular season.

One step closer to NYC starts Sunday.

AMERICAN
Championship
(1) Denver v (2) Patriots
NATIONAL
Championship
(1) Seattle v (5) San Francisco

The National Conference championship game will be on Fox later in the day, while the American Conference championship will play first on CBS at 1pm Mountain (3pm Eastern).

Bullshit! Part 2

Even more bullshit in the latter stages of Round 3 2012 in the NFL. Was this an interception? I think so!

If this was at Lambeau, would the 'bullshit' chant be in effect? I hope so!
