Here in the western hemisphere, we have the CONCACAF qualifiers. In Europe, there's the UEFA EURO 2012 qualifiers.

The long road to the 2014 men's World Cup in Brazil begins Friday with sixteen teams battling to make it to the World Cup. Poland and Ukraine are the host countries this year.

The ESPN networks will have coverage beginning Friday with co-host Poland in action at 11am NACDT.
