An 84 degree Independence Day on Coney Island was the backdrop of the annual Nathan's Hot Dog eating competition, truly a 4th of July tradition unlike no other. Congrats Joey!

An annual Independence Day tradition. The stars of MLE and other competitive eaters testing their stomachs to see who will come on top at the Nathan's Hot Dog eating competition at Coney Island Monday afternoon.

Joey Chestnut has won the mustard belt the last couple of years, but since his chief competitor Takeru Kobayashi out due to contract dispute with IFOCE and MLE, he has no competition.
