Chinese Taipei (formerly Taiwan) made its winter Olympics debut at Sapporo 1972. They have appeared at every winter game since, with the exception of Lake Placid 1980. Most of their winter Olympic athletes competed in bobsled and luge events, though not one have yet to medal.
No one from this country have yet to qualify for Sochi as of yet, but could change.

London 2012: The Countdown Series: Chinese Taipei
174 days to go until the London games. Up next on the parade of nations: Chinese Taipei (TPE).
Chu Mu Yen (pictured) and Chen Shih Hsien are their only gold medalists to date. Both won in their flyweight classes in taekwondo, and both at Athens 2004.
As of now, 21 athletes will be in seven events. In addition to taekwondo, athletics, swimming and weightlifting will also be represented.

Chinese Taipei has participated in the summer Olympics since 1984. Their athletes have won a total of 13 medals, including two gold medals, in the summer Olympics.
As of now, 21 athletes will be in seven events. In addition to taekwondo, athletics, swimming and weightlifting will also be represented.
