A Short Explanation of the ALS 'Ice Bucket Challenge.'
Why the ice bucket dumpings? As you can see here, over a million have been raised for ALS research, simply by challenging one to a dumping of a bucked of ice water on video. If opposition refuses, they must donate for this cause. Celebrities and athletes have also joined in this as well as civilians. For example, free agent NHL forward Paul Bissonette with this challenge:
